PrairieArt Studio provides drawing and art workshops for artists of all ages to take a break from screens and feel proud of their creations.
In our fast-paced, technological world, students need to unplug and develop their problem solving and visual thinking skills. Visual arts promotes critical thinking skills and concentration, which benefit all areas of learning. “Art is not a luxury for our downtime, but an important contributor to physical and mental well-being,” says Susan Magsamen, co-author of the book which studies the brain’s responses to art.
Our philosophy is that EVERYONE can learn to draw and there is always room to improve. We offer a relaxed and supportive environment where students of all levels can explore their creativity through realistic drawing.
